Ford has taken safety seriously from day one. Safety is one of, if not the most important, things to look at when you are deciding on what vehicle you would like to purchase. Ford takes safety very seriously and has highly skilled engineers working on this task, day in and day out.
We have come a long way since 1956 and here are just some of the safety features that you might now find on your Ford:
AdvanceTrac® with electronic stability control- By using gyroscopic sensors, AdvanceTrac® with RSC® can detect wheelslip, understeer, oversteer and roll motion. Adverse road conditions are taken care of because this feature is always active in helping you maintain control.
Inflatable rear safety belts- With the use of these safety belts, Ford is able to distribute the crash-force energy across more of the torso area, which helps decrease the risk of injury.
Tire Pressure Monitoring System- Your tires are what keep you from the ground, so taking care of them is important. This system alerts you when your tire pressure is not that the proper level to ensure safety, fuel economy, comfort, and ride quality.
Personal Safety System- This system is designed to adjust the deployment of the front airbags in order to increase the protection of those riding in the front seat.
